I was at Fujitsu (for an unrelated incident) when this happened today.
From what I can gather a UPS failed at some point while they were switching load to generators in preparation for the impending storm.
The net result was that one of the power feeds to our racks failed. The outage was short, somewhere between 1-30 seconds. Any equipment that was just on the "A" supply lost power and rebooted. Anything that was dual supply (A + B) was fine and continued without issue.
Morale of the story - make sure your gear either has dual PSU or you use a power transfer switch to plug all of your single PSU devices into both power feeds (of course you then have a single point of failure in the transfer switch, so choose your poison).
