Colleagues - whatever the form of network built in the next few years
turns out to be, and irrespective of the result of the election, there
will be a need to nail down the IT system interactions for the B2B
interface between the network operator(s) and the wholesale customers of
the network.

Some of you may be providers, and many more will be wholesale customers.
Either way, you will need to develop B2B systems and processes to
interact with the network and perform adds/moves/changes for your customers.

I will be grateful if you could help out by reviewing and
sanity-checking this requirements specification for operational
processes and B2B systems interactions, and letting us know your
thoughts, suggestions and improvements. Even if you have never
participated in any Comms Alliance activity before, then please consider
reading and responding - your fresh eyes and fresh ideas may pick up
things the drafting team may have overlooked.

Many Thanks,
     Paul

industry, has released a draft NBN */B2B Interaction Process
Requirements Specification/* for comment.

*/Draft National Broadband Network/*

*/B2B Interaction Process Requirements Specification/*

The draft /NBN B2B Interaction Process Requirements Specification/ has
been developed by the Communications Alliance NBN Project's Operational
working group. It identifies the primary B2B interactions and
accompanying processes that will enable participating Retail Service
Providers to facilitate the delivery of a working service to an End User
on the National Broadband Network. It is expected that the contents will
provide technical guidance to RSPs with regards to the operational
processes and specific IT specifications required to enable interaction
with NBN Co when provisioning customer services on the new national
broadband access network.
