[AusNOG] Gillard promises video doctors with NBN

Oh don't get me wrong - I fully support anything that can actually benefit the health and well-being of Australians.

I just think it's a bit optimistic to have plans to spend so much money on the 1st term when so much is being spent already.

In time though, after the dust settles I would certainly be more welcoming to such funding for the medical sector.

I just don't want Australia to go broke :P

It's also only extending the services which are offered by a GP to people in remote areas who can't get to them.
 
What's the use of a super NBN (what every form the "pony" takes) if we don't embrace the tech that uses it ??
