[AusNOG] Problems with HP Network Configuration Utility

Hey guys,

 

I was wondering if anyone has had issues with this pretty much locking
sheets so when you try to open your nic's to config them you get the
following error:

 

"some of the controls on this property sheet are disabled because one or
more other network property sheets are already open. To use these controls
close, these property sheets and then reopen this one"

 

The machine is just stuffed, I've tried to update drivers/firmware etc, also
the utility won't  open ether i get this error:

 

"Network Controls are locked. HP Network Configuration Utility cannot be
launched, Please close all network property sheets and try again."

 

This pretty much happened after i tried to change the port from an access to
a trunk port i added the vlans to the nic in the util and it locked the
sheets and hasn't unlocked em since...

Iv logged a ticket with hp, id love some help from someone whos had to deal
with this horrid issue...
