[AusNOG] Lan extender recomendations

Is it private copper?    How close is it to 200m?  How many pairs do  
you have?
Have you tried running 100baseT or 10baseT over it?   From a decently  
built switch (ie. something rack mount with a decent switch mode PSU)  
you maybe surprised what you can achieve.
Reliable?  Depends on a few things.  But 100baseT drives further than  
you might think.
But if you've got a need then something like: http://www.ethernetextender.com/ 
  might work for you.
