[AusNOG] OT: AS_PATH prepend (was: Re: Largest IP Backbone)

Anyone ever tried to apply 6 degrees of separation to BGP taking out any
artificial lengthening? I am drunk and not up to trying to validate
anything I say atm but I think if put more than say around 4 prepends on
any path it is going to be longer than any legitimate path and would
like to see someone more sober than me try it while I sleep off a
hangover :).

Having said that, how many AS hops do I have to say Bill Gates, Steve
Jobs, etc and who will say hi to them for me <g>

Footnote: who needs Ausnog drinks to get drunk? Plenty of other reasons
to do it!
