Why not?
HWIC-1GE-SFP support per chasis:
Number of Supported Modules
1841 Not Supported
2801 Not Supported
2811 1
2821 1
2851 1
3825 2
3845 2
You can also put a NM-1GE into the 3800's... therefore 2 internal, 2 HWIC, and 1 NM-1GE in a 3825 and 2 in a 3845...
So a 3845 can have 6 GE ;-)
The NM-1GE is also supported in the: 2691, 3660, 3725, 3745.
