Hey Mark/All,
You added an extra - :-) http://users.on.net/~newton/xenophon-2009-01-09.pdf
I'm just glad that people are starting to see it for what it is a waste of
time / money.
PS: I can't help but wonder if it was made such a strong issue to divert
attention from the current global economic down turn. :P
Regards,
Bruce

Interesting read.
I got a less-strongly-worded but similar indication out of Sen.
Xenophon in January:

(in response to this letter:

As I said yesterday, as long as this remains Government policy
the pressure needs to remain. It isn't dead until it's lying in the
dirt with a spear sticking out of its eye socket.
How was this ever going to work?
Ask Bernadette McMenamin :-)
