For List information purposes.

Hey Eric,

We manage the interception for a number of numbers as well as preparing their ICP's (Interception Capability Plan's). It all depends on if you are a licensed carrier, and what you are wanting/being expected to intercept.

If it is something you are unable to intercept for a variety of reasons, you can request an exemption - which I've never had one refused yet.

The most important thing to know if what types of technology you are wanting to intercept, as a lot of it can be handed off to suppliers.

Let me know if you need any other assistance.

Subject: [AusNOG] Legal Interception

Hi there,

We're trying to setup legal interception within our network. Any pointers and does anyone know what a carriage service providers obligations are?

Kind Regards,
Eric
