And from some further checks, they aren't - at least not with Maxmind.  The
IP addresses of the servers which are originating the requests are all
listed as being Google, and located in either Mountain View or in a few
cases, Ohio.

Good for those of us 2 miles away from Mountain View. Not so good for the
rest of you...
