No, I'm not the moderator. There really isn't one. I'm just a
community minded bloke that volunteers a bucket load of time to make
AusNOG happen.

You can do as you choose. If you are on any of the other significant
industry mailing lists (nanog, nsp, ietf wg's, apnic sigs, etc etc)
then just do as you do on those lists because they all work this way.
