[AusNOG] NBN by the Government - Do we care?

What's the bet this is all a huge scam so they can get their filtering  
in place. Sure, you can have fibre, but you can't have internet!

Would make it a lot easier to control the ISPs if they made  
legislation along the lines of  "If you want to resell this network,  
you must have filtering in place". Then it's not mandatory, you just  
need it if you want to be competitive.
