Good thinking by Joe Stewart. It loads images from 6 different websites,
depending on which combination you (or more likely, your customers) can
see you can tell if they have Conficker and get a decent clue on which
version as well. Perfectly safe, doesn't take admin access (or require
installation) and easy to explain to people over the phone.
This page works because Conficker blocks your computer from contacting
certain security vendors domains.
