I'd agree with that.  If Vocus gets peering with AAPT, I'd expect that
at
least Telstra and Optus would shift up a gear in trying to de-peeer with
AAPT.

Perhaps its more to do with AAPT's gang of four arrangement with 
Telstra, Optus and Verizon (MCI)?
