[AusNOG] Transact and grapevine can see our network

G'day,

I've been looking into this issue. Our best egress route to FastHit is through MCI. This is very suspect, as even though they are advertising the route they don't seem to be able to reach it (it goes to the USA and stops there).

Has anyone else with transit through MCI tried?

For the time being I've statically routed your network through AAPT and it seems to be working fine now. I have also asked the MCI NOC to investigate.

I suspect the real problem probably lies somewhere further down the line, but hopefully they can work it out.

Given both you and TransACT seem to have AAPT in common for transit, I'd
call AAPT and lodge a fault with them.

Either that or try contacting TransACT (I don't have any advice on how
if you're not a customer or have some kind of relationship with them).
