[AusNOG] CHAP instead of PAP

Hello,

On our dialin service we get since last wednesday an enormous amount
of people trying to authenticate via CHAP instead of PAP, while
they neither we neither our dialin provider have made any changes
in the settings. I myself suspect an windows update having done
this, but I can't find any information on the rest of the 'net about
it.

Therefor, have you seen any of these issues lately and do you know
why?
