Trying to build up a small homelab for some self-development and struggling to find things in the usual places that won't blow my energy consumption up or are just a bit too on the expensive end. That said, if you're looking for gear, it is well worth keeping an eye on Grays and other auction sites, a lot of offices are decommissioning at the moment and there are heaps of spare bits of gear currently going for sale, especially as most of the workload is moved into cloud environments.
