Our business is located in Melbourne with a small support staff in Alexandria NSW. A recent acquisition has provided us with an opportunity to grow our Sydney team. We are seeking expressions of interest for an infrastructure engineer to work in our Sydney datacentre locations. Ideally you will need to be an outcome focused person who can work with a variety of customers with different needs and of course our tech and admin staff. We envisage there will be 2 senior roles, which will both become our lead engineers for NSW alongside 2 existing tech and 1 admin staff. Cameron is our tech lead in Melbourne who is handling interest for this role - see below for his contact details. Any expressions of interest received and/or conversations will be kept confidential. .. Position: Infrastructure Engineer Location: Sydney, NSW About Us: Cloud365 is an MSP. We design, build and manage custom applications and infrastructure. We're a small team of technology professionals operating our own purpose-built datacentre infrastructure in Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin, Singapore, Tokyo and Dallas. Our Australian team are predominantly based in Melbourne, however our Sydney team is growing and a recent acquisition will require additional team members in NSW. The Role: We have an upcoming role for an Infrastructure Engineer located in Sydney. Initially this role will be integrating an acquisition, also located in Sydney, into our datacentre systems. Tasks will be project driven, handing over integrated systems to our operational staff located in Melbourne. On completion, you will be assisting with creating an operational support base to be located in Alexandria, then the role will become one of two lead infrastructure engineers for NSW. The infrastructure and systems being integrated include Citrix Hypervisors (into our KVM based platform), some EMC storage, physical servers (Windows and Linux) to be virtualised where applicable. There are custom applications and SQL databases running on both Windows and Linux, most of which our team are familiar with. There are some broadcast (audio) streaming systems which we will migrate into our platform. On the network side there are Fortinet devices, Cisco and Mikrotik switches which need to be either migrated away from or relocated into our systems. Working Hours: Both roles are standard business hours, however during migration there will be some after hours tasks. On completion of this project, both roles will revert to standard business hours. Whilst there are no on call requirements, you are welcome to join our AH support roster. We have a flexible work from home policy. Staff are equipped with a WFH kit including connectivity and telephony. Experience: Ideally you will have at least 3-5 years experience maintaining networks, applications and/or systems including Cisco, Mikrotik, VMWare or Citrix, Fortinet, HP and IBM. Whilst formal qualifications are preferred, we will look at highly experienced candidates with suitable technical certifications. EMC storage and IP telephony experience helpful but not essential. We're looking for a technical all-rounder who enjoys working with datacentre clients where not all systems are the same. There's plenty of room to learn, upskill and enjoy working with an agile team who are outcome focused. You won't be on our own, we have a great team of tech staff who can assist with anything you need. You will need to be eligible and hold the applicable visas to work in Australia. A Police check will be required. Expressions Of Interest: If you are interested in this role, please send an email to Cameron via Careers at Cloud365.com.au. We're not taking calls at the moment, only expressions of interest and CVs, however I'm sure Cameron will be happy to answer any questions. Many thanks Darren. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
