<p class="MsoNormal">I know Google have had a few issues this week.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I’m looking at a problem from Friday 19<sup>th</sup> between 12:50 – 13:00 where DNS was either partially operational or not at all.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We have services in Sydney (SY4) and Melbourne (ME1) who could not see each other via DNS, but only for a very short period of time.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A check of paths, etc, shows all networks and peering were fine. We have telco and streaming services between these locations which were not interrupted (they had sessions established and didn’t need to lookup).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The only thing in common for these hosts is they use Google DNS to look each other up.<o:p></o:p></p>
