<div dir="ltr">Unlike the US which has 4th Amendment rights to privacy, under Westminster law, there's never been an unqualified right to privacy. Privacy has always been subject to the rule of law, and the scrutiny of judicial writ. It's difficult to argue with the intent of the bill, which is to extend judicial writ to the cyber domain.
