I assume 'new' customers are being provisioned on TPG's hardware. My
provisioning task was riddled with notes from Frontier.<br>

can’t comment on whether they are merged at all, but I can
tell you that you can run PPPoE and IPoE on the same CVC. In
fact, with the right configuration, you can accept PPPoE and
IPoE on the one AVC. It has questionable value, but it

differences between the two is that iiNet still peers on
the various peering exchanges and uses IPoE on NBN whereas
TPG doesn't peer (outside of PIPE) and uses PPPoE for NBN
