What about routes from TPG AS7545? TPG can be picked up from PIPE peering. But some alternative is always nice.
Yes with Telstra domestic you pick up all the Australian routes from Optus (AS7474), AAPT (AS2764), and Verizon (AS703)

As an added surprise, you also pick up a small amount of TelstraGlobal (AS4637) routes, most of which are in Singapore/HongKong, but also some strange ones which are originated in Australia

You might find the pricing to be quite similar though between domestic and full table at low commits of <1G
Hi Matt,

Thank you for advice, it can be a solution for us. I would assume it will also give us access to other "gang of tree" networks via Telstra peering. It should be cheaper than full transit, so it may cost similar to our current transits.
You can by domestic only from Telstra. That's as close as you can get
to peering. Btw our last transit price from Telstra wholesale matched
AAPT's price.
Hi,

Is there any way to peer with Telsta AS1221 within Australia? They are not present on any IX in Australia. But it seems the only way to peer with Telstra is to buy transit from them. But transit from Telstra costs absolutely insane money. I'm looking for peering because Telstra's customers generates good amount of traffic on our transit links.
