Having been frustrated for a long time about the belief in the main stream that the NBN is the Internet (and therefore NBN capacity/performance == Internet performance), an article about ISPs saying end users need to lower their (false) performance expectations (false expectations set by politicians, most press, armchair experts and ISPs themselves in many cases), and Conroy resigning, I did a slide:

"Why ISPs Can't Guarantee Internet Performance"
https://www.slideshare.net/mobile/MarkSmith214/why-isps-cant-guarantee-internet-performance

Shouldn't be news to anybody here, use it to explain to your non-technical relatives, friends and associates as to why they're not getting the "NBN" Internet speeds they think they're paying for.

Regards,
Mark.
