    We use it internally for overstamping any number (e.g. call via SIP,
    set the CLI to a mobile number).<br>
    <br>
    This is over a wholesale connection and we did have to ask for it,
    however there were no problems getting it enabled.<br>
    In our case we have no whitelist of numbers and we didn't have to
    prove ownership of any specific numbers.<br>
    I have actually even overstamped a international number just fine.<br>
    <br>
    I presume if you abuse the feature they'll clamp down on you like a
    ton of bricks.<br>
