Dont know what its like over there now, but when I was over there with the RAMSI (Remote Assist Mission to the Solomon Islands) the entire country only had about 1.5Mbit of connectivity via AT&T I think it was from memory. We had to bring in a Parakeet (portable satellite link) from the Australian Army for communications for the base. Not to mention the copper phone lines were absolutely atrocious. You could get dialup from your hotel room at about 14.4kbps if you were lucky.<br>

Mind you this was many years ago now so things may have changed in that time. They might have joined the 20th century, but I still would not expect too much.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
