Given how most email clients display the data by default, top
posting makes more sense, as to get to your bottom posting I have to
scroll through the email chain that I've already read to get to the
relevant information.<br>

setting all those years ago, killed any chance of bottom
posting becoming the norm.<br>

<div>It's not just Outlook. I have to make a conscious
effort to not do it in the Gmail web interface, and it's
even harder to avoid when on the move using the Gmail app
on my Android device.</div>
