orange PVC pipes about 40cm below the footpath. Called ACT Govt, who double-checked their plans, declared it to be unknown, and said to just rip up whatever was in the way, and continue with our works.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

from ACT Govt out to talk to them. They wouldn't tell us what was going on, but upshoot was that the pipes had to be replaced before we could continue work. The dudes in suits refused to identify themselves, so we ended up sending the bill for the extra
work to ACT Govt, and they paid it.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
