<div dir="ltr">Hmm, that sounds like you haven't tuned window sizes in the kernel on both ends (but in particular on the sending system) to speed it up? The default on a lot of recent distro's seems to be pretty horrendous, and seems to be set out of the box to what ends up being around 9k window size. (so every 9kbyte transferred requires waiting on an ack - so 15msec per 9kbytes gives you around 600kbytes/sec. Which it sounds might be about what you're getting. <div>It started off at a good speed then took a nose dive. I have been speaking to softlayers noc team and we have been running mtrs and traceroutes as well as test the servers I/O capacity and download speeds at softlayer but still we can not find the issue.</div>
