<div dir="ltr">The port costs of Megaport are extremely low... I am regularly surprised how misunderstood they are since they are so simple.<div><br></div><div>A $500 basic port charge for 10Gb access and free IX over it is a dream price.  The costs of VxC's are only $200 inter-dc which are speed agnostic.  The fact you can do this for 1 day for $20 is astounding.</div>

<div><br></div><div>Also, if you are a supplier, and people are initiating the connection to you, you pay nothing for this.</div><div><br></div><div>This cost structure seems to be very economical to me.  Not only that, once there are other VxC players - which I believe NextGen is launching soon, and perhaps others, there will be an interesting amount of options out there.</div>
