<div>It seems many people can provide transit to Optus but to buy off Optus direct you have to have a very large spend.</div>
<div>I have a circuit going live to AAPT in the next month so that will give me a closer AS path to Optus, however was hoping for a more direct link to their AS.</div>
<div>The problem is Optus sometimes prefer us via the US as we peer / buy transit direct in the USA and at current it can be the same AS hop length so we get additional latency.</div>
<div>Hopefully with the AAPT Domestic this will solve things, currently we use Global-Gateway (Telecom NZ), Telstra Global & Vocus to get to AU; so AAPT should be the more direct path.</div>
