our kit installed (or removed) in the US (or AU).<br>

The one thing I have observed with Equinix is that the procedures
are very similar, yet very different across different countries.
Possibly in the case of the US, difference procedures in different
cities.<br>

Equinix IBXs in the US want asset numbers or serial numbers of installed kit. Their security folks also require an authorized person to cite the asset number or serial number of each item that is removed from the facility.
I can't remember if they work the same way in Australia.
