I've only just looked at the dozens of emails and I can't believe what is going on.</div><div><br></div><div>For the most part (without the occasional randoms), AusNOG works just fine. Yeah, sometimes something interesting happens, and we like to have a natter about it. That is basically what AusNOG as a mailing list has become - a forum to discuss.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Those who run the list, have their reasons for running it the way they do... and if they don't want to change things, that is fine. Personally I'd like to see AusNOG stay just the way it is... informal comms about network stuff and other things of interest.</div>
<div><br></div><div>But.. if there was a AusNOG-OpsOnly list. Make it a list where anyone can subscribe but only Operators can post - and keep it strict - then it would work just fine. But there is no point breaking AusNOG as it is... we are a community that has grown over the years and we are what we are... </div>
