Hi Guys, <br><br>Just wondering if anyone out there is a Network Engineer or Midrange (Server) Engineer at an organisation that has moved to ABW (Activity Based Working) and what impact it has had on their team and what they have done to move into this environment? Or if they were excluded from this strategy? <br>
<br>Our organisation has committed to adopting to this strategy, I can see the benefits for some teams, but struggle for ours being Core Networking that rely on multiple displays and fixed displays for monitoring visuals. <br>
<br>I've tried to establish the importance and need for our team to been in a fixed location (ie. a mini NOC) but have been told that a lot of large organisations including some of the 'big 4' bank's have moved to ABW including their core technical services - I find this hard to believe. <br>
<br>If anyone has had any experience with ABW from a core technical perspective, I'd love to hear their experiences. <br><br>Thanks<br>David <br>
