    <div class="moz-cite-prefix">VDSL2 is often a decent alternative for
      additionally cabling MDUs or high density buildings (motels come
      to mind). In fact, a few vendors sell VDSL2 DSLAM/MSAN equipment
      specifically targeted at motels and office buildings.<br>

      From memory, there was talk of using VDSL2 in this capacity for
      the NBN for some dwellings.<br>

              Realistically in my opinion given the investment into NBN
              that I wouldn't see a great large volume investment into
              ADSL2+ connectivity. I know Telstra is still running the
              TOPHAT program to keep people going until NBN but I
              wouldn't expect to see a mass outlay unless it was
              absolutely necessary.<br>
