<div><br></div><div>From a business perspective I'm not so sure I'd market it to the masses as a lower latency link - as you say. But a redundant path, which I think was mentioned by Vocus, at similar latency and or cost I would. It seems like a good win for Vocus if the business case holds true.</div>

To the data centre propeller heads this may seem like a hugh feat. There was probably a sound and justifiable reason for spending under $1M to gain 400 metres on someone else but from the perspective of the average network dude that read the Slashdot article, I'm thinking it's going to get the absolute piss pulled out of it.<br>
