+1 for this - a previous life involved a lot of hardcore Ethernet with tags++ and some advanced requirements, and yeah, test test test test test. Then test again. If you require advanced q-in-q functionality and want to ACL or switch or replace etc etc based on them, you gotta test it at much as you can. In some experiences with the gear I used, some configurations only worked under certain circumstances. Not something you want to find out when deploying a supposedly unrelated service.<div>

Ability to be intelligent about encap/decap/stacking is another.....<br>
