<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">However the unit was detecting it was too cold in the DC and blowing in warm air. After having the tech’s out twice we got it to blow cold air again, and after re-designing the entire floor space I was able to
provide better air flow to the servers, however the servers got up to about 28degrees in, 34 degrees out. Lets just say it was very uncomfortable on the floor.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">After the tech left the room dropped to about 19 degrees in, 23 degrees out, but I guess I was initially after the sweet spot for the operating temperature without going overboard (is that 19, 20, 22, 24 degrees?)<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I also have concerns that having it set to such a low temp over a sustained period could actually be damaging to the unit, however these are not the home style split systems but what you would normally see in
a DC (ill get manufacturer on Monday)<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Also on a side note, anyone know where you can get floor tiles from for dc floors? It would appear our ‘spare tiles’ are simply a collection of offcuts, or previously cut up for venting and what I need is full
complete tiles.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#005DA2">I would also make sure you check what temperature those AC units are on. I’ve seen some installations which don’t use commercial units and try to pump consistently below 19 degrees. All I can say is that bad
things can happen when the wrong equipment is installed. Make sure you have fail over aircon units installed in case the primary fails. If money etc permits.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
