<div>Still makes it a pain if you're using multiple providers for a network (office or home network with dual adsl feeds or 3G backups etc).</div><div>Can't use an ISP's DNS servers without statically routing each of them down the relevant pipe (because everyone likes to block lookups from outside their networks) which then breaks your access if that ADSL or 3G or Cable link goes offline.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I know it's an edge case but having a single set of servers you can use everywhere is (mostly) less of a headache in the long run. Obviously not in the case of the google resolver thou ^_^</div><div>
