But I've always had the same thoughts. Generosity is one thing, but I truly believe that charity should start at home.</div><div><br></div><div>Deal with the floods, homeless, victims of violence and other tragedies here in Australia before going elsewhere.... don’t ignore the world, but our taxes should be first and foremost used for dealing with the issues that are happening in our country first. Bushfires, floods, etc ... It isn't like they happen rarely... These things are happening all the time, and the Australian government should be focusing on all the issues here as a priority. When our backyard is good, then focus elsewhere.</div><div><br></div><div>Bad things around the world are important too, but it's a scale thing….
