didn’t explicitly mention that this was for IPv6 peering, BGP isn’t
that much different (yes, a little but just by a few commands), and could also
be a very good way for current network operators with only IPv4 experience (particularly
if they can obtain the free IPv6 1mbit peering by getting a patch to Vocus if
still available and Pipe if already have peering along with an allocation from
APNIC) to learn.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

professionals set up a similar system but expand it a bit further (and also
limit it to Australian’s, if demand in other countries can deal with that
later) that we also mentor the people that join and also set up a loose
curriculum, primarily to ensure that anyone who joins is an actual student
looking to learn and not going to abuse the test network, as they progress they
will gain better access.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
