INTERNET SOCIETY ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Leaders from academia, industry, and Internet community to provide
leadership in Internet related standards, education, and policy
RESTON, VA, USA and GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - 21 June 2010 - The Internet
Society today announced its new Board of Trustees, comprised of
leaders from industry, academia, and the global Internet community.
The diverse and distinguished board membership reflects the Internet
Society's mission of providing global leadership in promoting the open
development, evolution, and use of the Internet for the benefit of all
people throughout the world.
Members of the Board with terms beginning this year are:
<b>* Narelle Clark, Independent consultant and Vice-President of
the Australian Chapter of the Internet Society</b>
* Eva Frölich, Co-founder of Frobbit!
* Bob Hinden, Check Point Fellow at Check Point Software
