[AusNOG] WA-based Public DNS Servers

 Hi,

It sounds like you're looking for routers to send a few queries through, in
order to compare the results with the same queries sent via your normal
path with EDNS0 ECS? Multicast addresses like 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9 won't
help with that.

What you might actually want is to search for a WA based DNS looking glass?

For DNS servers, have a browse under
https://www.whatsmydns.net/dns/australia . You won't be able to recurse
through many of them, but some of them will work. Just don't play yourself
by assuming the locations are correct:
* Check the resolver that the router uses by looking at "ns" in the output
from (eg.) dig +short @192.189.54.17 TXT whoami.ds.akahelp.net
* Check the geolocation of the resolver. This is a favourite topic for
*NOG lists.

Alternatively, an operator on this list might volunteer their WA based DNS
router for your experiment?
