[AusNOG] Rack space in NextDC S1/S2

I could not have said it any better myself Ben. I wouldn’t be sorry for speaking your mind.

I am sick of these two people causing heartache and misery where ever they go. This is not an legitimate request rather a bullshit cover for an individual that has been banned from Equinix facilities for breaking the rules and breaching security policies. Anyone from NextDC who is on this list please pay attention.

I don’t need to name names but I am sure we all know the names of the people

Regards,

Apologies for adding to this mess, I am just sick and tired of the same going on unresolved, wasting our precious bytes...

It is pretty hard to establish a dialogue with a fraudulent character. Luckily, there are aren’t too many left in this local industry actually, mainly an annoying pair who seem to leave a trail of debt, disappointment and destruction behind them. One should have been criminally convicted and the other continues to duck and weave, defrauding legitimate organisations and genuine people. Both have no place here now or in the future.

Regardless, please leave this community alone. Head the hint! Stop creating aliases and continuing to pester everyone. Enough is enough.

For what its worth, for everyone else, if you’re crazy enough to think about helping either of these guys, just don’t. Its not worth it.

Hello Matthew,

I’m unsure as to how you are able to speak for other members on the list. The reason that I use an alias in order to obtain pricing is to ensure that the pricing is unbiased and their best possible pricing. There is no obligation for any provider who may be a member to provide pricing for my request, just as you don’t need to (and won’t, as your network does not have a point of presence in any NextDC facility). And for what it’s worth, using an alias is not a sign of disrespect.

Requesting a colocation provider to contact myself off-list in relation to a request for services, as far as I can tell is not against the group charter. It is required in order to establish network redundancy and fault-tolerance and help from a member who can facilitate the space is required. I also invite any moderator for AusNOG to correct me if I am wrong. As a result, I really don’t see a reason for myself to be removed.

Furthermore, if you have any grievances with my usage of an alias I actively encourage you to contact me off-list and copying moderator at ausnog.net<mailto:moderator at ausnog.net> with any legitimate concerns you may have, such as a breach of the charter or similar. I’m going to end this discussion here, as there is no further need to continue on-list.

Finally, the requirement still exists. Anyone is welcome to reach out off-list and I’m more than happy to engage in private dialogue.

Regards,
JD.

I have said it before and I will say it again. No one on this list is going to take you seriously if you cannot be bothered to even show the group common courtesy and respect by using your correct name not some factious name.

Can the admins remove this member please.

Hi Noggers,

Currently looking for 3RU, either in NextDC S1 or S2. If you have anything available, please contact me off-list.

Cheers,
