Hi George,

Yes, this is correct – it is called the New Development Charge.

@MatthewEnger – Beat me to it ☺

Subject: [AusNOG] $300 NBN Connection Fee for FTTP?

Well this is interesting. A client who has a new house on a new estate (FTTP) has been told by his RSP (a very big one) that there is a $300 connection fee for NBN to be connected? My son lives on the same estate and had the FTTP hooked up without a problem. Anyone else heard of such a goings on?

Cheers

g.
