[AusNOG] NBN & Indirect rsps

I did notice that, considering that there plans are month to month I wonder how many customers would stick around once the price jumps to $49/mth.
Why bother selling 12/1 if there is zero to very minimal profit gains. Maybe it’s a marketing play to attract customers, I don’t know. Maybe we will see on the back of buses and bus stops “Unlimited NBN for $19/month!”

I believe NBNco sells a 12M port for $24 ex gst, so to be selling it at $19, they are making a loss before the service has any data.

It is only a discount for first 12 months, I think they hope to upsell customers to higher port speeds.

I’m seeing Buzz Telco selling 12/1 unlimited for $19 p/m and $39 for 50/20. I’d imagine CVC/customer ratios would be quite high.
