Hi Murat,

Is this still occurring this morning, we saw massive reachability issues from AAPT from around 1800 last night until 2245 but it all appears to have settled back down this morning reachability wise but the path is still horrible, in some cases we are seeing traffic coming from Sydney > Perth > Melbourne and back to Sydney but at least it is reachable again.

Kindest Regards,
Nathan Brookfield (VK2NAB)

Subject: [AusNOG] Routing issue from Melbourne to Sydney only when Telstra is in the path

Hi all,

We just cutover between our providers AAPT to Vocus we had our primary blocks using AAPT for in and out bound, since to BGP changes we have noticed all our sydney customers they are on Telstra or uses Telstra as a next-hop the destination isn't reachable.

As an example, we are trying to access 175.184.201.44 from 103.210.10.72 and the destination cannot be reach it is only effect one of our ip block all other ip blocks can reach this ip address without any issues.

Anyone able to assist us from Telstra or even Vocus.

Thanks
Regards,
Murat Sener
