  Thank you for that information.  That is not an unreasonable price, considering that the local loop cost is more than half of the retail price. Nor is $24 an extravagant premium to cover any overseas bandwidth costs. How is the general perception in New Zealand with regards to bandwidth? Do subscribers feel they get what they pay for and are they able to access (local) services at line speed during prime time?
