[AusNOG] Telstra IPv6 Wireless Enablement

Morning Sunny,

The 'problem' was that the home servers were dual-stacked - but the V6
addresses come down an EOIP tunnel from work - when we shifted house, we
were using Telstra Air for 3-4 weeks (Mikrotik Groove-52, with a 26db mesh
dish - hitting a Telstra Air AP in someone's house just on 1km away), with
the /28 for home over an SSTP tunnel over the top of that. I'd been a
little lax with bothering sending the V6 over that tunnel as well.. Then
my missus stopped being able to get to the home servers (or at least,
having a 30-second or so delay on first contact each time) when not at
home, and after some mucking around, I realised that V6 had appeared on our
mobiles! I had to pull my finger out, and push the EOIP tunnel which
carried our V6 addresses, over the top of the SSTP tunnel we were using.
 (yes, tunnels, over tunnels ;)

Thanks for your hard work, getting V6 happening on mobile - it's nice to
see someone in .au putting V6 on customer devices! :)

We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sounds of thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
 and tore the world asunder
