UPDATE received 9.31.pm

Telstra have advised that their cabling team is presently installing a fix to where the fibre was severed. They are confident it will be resolved in the next few hours. We expected the services to be operational by the morning.

Once the services have been restored we will request a formal RFO and details associated to the fibre break.

Just had an update that ETR is expected before EOD (not sure if they mean COB or later?).

There was not ETR provided to us, except that it was "fast tracked" for repair.

That explains a lot.
Is there an ETR at all? My upstream isn't passing on any info at all regarding this fault. We simply lost link around 9.40am.
Thanks,
Ben

We have been advised of a Telstra Fibre outage/breakage affecting multiple providers and clients out of Port Melbourne (probably NextDC M1) since earlier today.

Telstra apparently have engineers onsite accessing/repairing the breakage currently.
