Staff at ISPs have exactly the same training and legal protection that
anyone else who is obliged to supply evidence to law enforcement:
practically none.  Doesn't seem to have put every other company out of
business, nor has it resulted in the wholesale release of dangerous
criminals.

Y'all are tilting at the wrong windmill here.  Work to kill the bill, don't
wring your hands about trivial side-issues that have been solved for
decades, if not centuries.
